Albert R. Laplante (Skip), 81, of Colchester passed away on September 13th, 2024 in the City of Burlington.

Albert was born in Waterbury, VT to Albert and Beatrice Laplante (Herbert). He attended Burlington Schools. He married Sharon (Poland) on August 26th, 1967 in Essex Junction, VT. He was employed by VT Railway.

Albert is survived by his son Albert and (Barbara), daughter Tonya and (Dan), grandchildren Alex and (Maleana), Shelby, Jenna, Maranda, and great-grandchildren Kinsley and Grayson.

Visiting hours will be held at Corbin & Palmer Essex on Thursday, September 19th from 4-7 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Parish in Colchester on Friday, September 20th at 10 AM. A burial will follow immediately after the service at Holy Cross cemetery.
