Andrea Adams McKnight, a longtime resident of Stowe and Hyde Park, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Born in Morrisville on February 27, 1952, at Copley Hospital to Lester Adams Sr and Beth (Davis) Adams. On June 24, 1995, she married Richey L. McKnight. He predeceased her on August 7, 2019.

Andrea was a 1970 graduate of Stowe High School. She continued her education, earning an associate's degree from Vermont College/Norwich University.

Andrea is survived by her brother, Kent Adams, and his wife, Phyllis; sisters-in-law Janet Adams and Barbara Adams. She was predeceased by four brothers, David, Richard, Winford, and Lester Jr., and one sister, Vicky.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 1 pm at the Riverbank Cemetery in Stowe. For those who wish, memorial gifts would be appreciated to the Living Hope Wesleyan Church, PO Box 118, Waterbury Center, VT 05677.
