Arlene
Churchill
Jan 26, 1944 — Aug 6, 2026
Arlene T. Churchill, of Litchfield, NH, formerly of Stowe, VT, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Vermont, January 26, 1944, to the late Leopaul and Ruth (Nolin) Touchette.
Arlene grew up in Stowe, graduating from Stowe High School in 1962. After graduation she worked for Travelers Insurance in Hartford, CT and began dating and married the love of her life, Ronald Churchill. Ron and Arlene owned and operated Churchill Appliances for fifteen years before moving to New Hampshire. Arlene had several accounting positions and retired from Southern New Hampshire Services. Arlene loved being with family. Most weekends during the summer were spent camping with family, prior to moving to NH. She also enjoyed Square Dancing, playing Mahjong and watching the WNBA. However, her greatest joy was her grandchildren, and she loved attending all their activities. She will be dearly missed by all, especially by Katie, her cat.
Arlene was the beloved wife of Ronald Churchill, and they would have celebrated their 62nd anniversary in September. She was the devoted mother of Mark Churchill and his wife Deborah, Tracy Longo and her husband, Lou. She was a loving grandmother to Alyson Churchill (Alex), Trevor Longo, Owen Churchill and Tyler Longo. She was the cherished sister of Eileen Langdell and her husband Ron. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and special Goddaughters, Paula Frank and Tammy Carter.
