Obituary

Betty Anne (Larmay) Carrier, 84 of Milton, passed away on November 10, 2024 at UVM Medical Center after a long illness.

Betty was born in Burlington, VT to Colixte and Dorothy Larmay on May 5, 1940. She went to school in Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School in 1959. She worked as a manufacturer for IBM for 25 years. She was involved in the Fraternal order of the Moose 1618, American Legion Auxiliary 91 and the VFW.

Betty was preceded in death by both her parents, brother Moulton (Moe) Larmay, and her son Duane F. Carrier, Jr.

Betty is survived by daughter Kandy Stillwell of Essex Junction, daughter Victoria & Anthony Mayette of South Burlington, daughter Tonnie Sullivan of Burlington and daughter Tammie Carrier of Milton. As well as her 6 Grandchildren, Corey Stillwell of AZ, Chad Stillwell of Milton, Brendan Sullivan of Burlington, George Sullivan of Burlington, Katie Grosso of Waterbury, Michael Maldonado, and numerous Great-grandchildren.

The family of Betty wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of UVM Medical Center for all their care during this trying time.

Visiting hours will be at Corbin and Palmer Funeral Parlor on Pleasant Street in Essex Junction on Friday November 15, 2024 from 4pm-6pm. Funeral services will be held graveside at Lakeview Cemetery on North Avenue at a to-be-determined date.

There will be Celebration of Life after the Service at The Moose Lodge on Williston Road from 12-3pm. All are welcome!
