South Burlington, VT – Beverly Ann Newman, 91, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024.

Beverly was born in Elmore, VT to Emery and Marjorie Merriam and was happily married to Raymond William Newman for over 67 years.

Beverly is survived by her children; Robert and Lynn Newman of Underhill, Kevin Newman of Essex Jct, Deborah and David Russell of Milton, Craig and Julia Newman of Alvin, TX, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Beverly was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She completed her Nurse's training at Heaton Hospital, Mary Fletcher, and Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Beverly retired from Green Mountain Nursing Home but never stopped caring for everyone she came in

contact with.

Beverly attended St. John Vianney Catholic Church and was a supporter of the Knights of Columbus Council 7525. Her passion was daily walks in the woods, reading, knitting, and spending time with her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be

loved and missed dearly.

The family will have a private funeral at the St. George Cemetery.
