Christopher Paul
Heath
Oct 25, 1980 — Mar 22, 2026
Christopher Heath, of Northfield, Vermont, passed away suddenly at home on March 22, 2026. He was 45 years old, born on October 25, 1980.
Chris was the kind of person who showed up—no matter what. If something needed fixing, building, or figuring out, he was already on his way, usually without being asked. He had a steady, generous way about him that made people feel taken care of, and he gave his time and energy freely to family, friends, and neighbors alike.
He is survived by his wife, Lauren Heath, who was at the center of his life, and together they raised Andi O'Grady of Northfield, whom he loved deeply. He is also survived by his mother, Madaline Larose, and his stepfather, Dale Larose; his brother, Joshua Heath, and Joshua's wife, Tyra; his stepson, Timothy J. Driscoll of Burlington, MA; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as eight grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Chris was predeceased by his father, Curtis Heath, who was incredibly important to him. Their bond shaped so much of who he became, and he carried that love and respect with him throughout his life.
Chris served in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that took him to many different countries and gave him stories, perspective, and a strong sense of loyalty that stayed with him long after his service ended.
At home, he found his peace outdoors—fishing, hunting, and working with his hands. Woodworking wasn't just a hobby; it was something he took pride in, creating things that were built to last, much like the relationships he valued.
More than anything, Chris will be remembered for his generosity. He was the person you called when you needed help, and he never hesitated. He didn't make a big deal out of it—that's just who he was.
A celebration of Chris's life will be planned for the summer.
