Christopher Ashton Kessler, 27, of Jericho, unexpectedly passed away on Monday September 25, 2023.

He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on April 15,1996.

Christopher, or Ashton, as he preferred to be named, was a bright and intelligent young soul. He always knew how to light up a room, just by his contagious smile. He loved to laugh and have a good time with those that he loved. Although Ashton faced many battles within his own life, he was strong willed and always had room in his heart for others.

If Ashton were here today he would tell you that his greatest accomplishment would be his daughter, Acadia Legrand-Kessler (age 8) and his first love, Shalena Legrand; his parents Jaime (mother) and Neil (father) Bernier, and Gil Stewart (biological father); his two siblings, Brittyn Bernier (sister), and Tristen Bernier (brother).

Services will be held Sunday, October 1st at 1:00pm at Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant Street, Essex Junction, VT. All who knew Ashton are welcome and encouraged to bring your favorite memories, stories, and photos to share.
