Claudette Claire Bissonnette, 95, of Winooski died on August 15, 2026 at Maple Ridge Memory Care after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.

She was born in Colchester, VT on October 2, 1930 to the late Victor and Rose (Rousselle) Gratton. She spent her early years in Williston, Colchester, and Winooski. She was married to Donald Bissonnette in 1950. Claudette worked at General Electric for over 35 years.

Claudette is survived by her children, Anne Raymond (Terry), Ronald Bissonnette (Dennette), David Bissonnette (Nancy), and Gerry Bissonnette; six grandchildren, Matt and Crystal Bissonnette, Amy and Brad Bissonnette, Jesse Bissonnette, and Nathan Trombley; and four great-grandchildren, Chase, Wesley, Brynn, and Landon. She was predeceased by her brother, and two sisters.

Her family extends a special thank you to Maple Ridge Memory Care, Bayada Home & Hospice, Our Lady of Providence, and Dr. Emily Strout.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 25, from 5pm to 7pm at LaVigne Funeral & Cremation Service, Winooski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 26, at 11:30am at St Francis Xavier Church with burial to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
