Sadly our dear son Daniel S.Norton, 54, passed away on February 25, 2024 from coronary heart disease.

He is survived by his parents Walter and Sondra (Wells) Norton; his five brothers, Patrick, Jimmy, T.J., Eddie, and Mike. He was predeceased by his great-grandmother Lila Friend; his grandparents Tim and Pearl Norton, and Loren and Elsa Wells, and a large extended family.

There are many dear friends who helped Dan through the long hospital stays, physical therapy rehabilitation, and were with him during all the many good times as well.

We thank all the doctors, nurses, and physical therapists who helped Dan in the long attempt at recovery from the devastating effects of Rhabdomyolysis.

If Dan could leave us a message it would be, be kind to each other and live your best life.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 9, from 1pm-3pm at LaVigne Funeral & Cremation Service, 132 Main St., Winooski. Anyone who wishes to donate in Dan's memory, please consider Habitat for Humanity which was an important interest of his. No flowers please.
