Douglas Bennett, 83, passed away on March 14th in Johnson, Vermont, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents, Rodger and Ilah Bennett, and his sister, Linda Bennett. Doug leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Vianna, and his children, Randy and Michelle Bennett, Tammy and Norm Wright, Amy Locke, as well as grandchildren Cody and Meg Bennett, Hannah and Micah Shipman, Cory and Meredith Bennett, Josh and Erica Clark, Brittany and Sam Trudo, Kelley and Katie Locke, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Born in Richmond, Vermont, Doug graduated from Richmond High School in 1960 and dedicated his life to farming.

A graveside service to celebrate Doug's life will be held on May 11th, 1 PM, at Riverside Cemetery.
