Dove Burke, 64, of Burlington VT, beloved mother and friend, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in her sleep at home on April 27, 2024..

Dove was born on January 23, 1960, in Connecticut to Joanne Burke. She grew up with siblings, Michael, Christopher, Robin, and Choo (Dawn). Some of the best memories she had while growing up were visiting her uncle Bill Crook's house in Eden Vt, spending time at the river, and riding her favorite horse, Buckwheat.

Dove had a gift of bringing everyone together, making us laugh, telling stories from the past, and creating the best one-liners and inside jokes. Her joyful personality and humor will be greatly missed. We know she is at peace, reunited with her grandmother Alice, mother Joanne, her nephew Scott LeBeau, and with her beloved pets Penny and Scotty.

Dove leaves behind her children, Calyssia Burke and Roger Samuel, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends she called family.

A memorial and celebration of her life will be held at LaVigne Funeral & Cremation Service, 132 Main St., Winooski on Friday May 17, from 5pm to 7pm. Friends, family, and anyone who would like to come pay respect are welcomed.
