Emma Ruth Press passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident in Essex Jct., VT.

Emma was born on November 23, 1993 in Burlington, VT to Ryan Butler and Lawrence Press.

She is survived by her mother, Ryan Butler of Williston; her brother, Benjamin Press of Williston; aunt, Erin Mecca of Essex Jct; maternal grandfather, Bert Butler of Shelburne; uncle Rick Butler and wife Marlena of Szczecin, Poland; father, Lawrence Press of South Burlington; paternal grandmother, Betty Press of Burlington; and several extended family members.

She is preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Linda Horne of Colchester and paternal grandfather, Jack Press of Burlington.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 1-3pm at Lavigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St. Winooski, VT.
