Esther (Mattioli) Beaupre , 100, of Essex Jct. passed away March 20, 2024 at home with her family by her side. Esther was born in Lebanon, PA on October 16, 1923. She was orphaned as a young child and raised by her older siblings.

She met her husband, Leo, after WWII. They were married 72 years and raised 4 children in Essex Jct. Her family was the center of her life. She traveled throughout the state to attend soccer, field hockey, football, ice hockey, basketball, baseball games and dance recitals to support her children and grandchildren. She was also a fan of the NY Yankees and tennis. She herself excelled at bowling, shuffleboard and horseshoes. She greatly enjoyed the Maine coast in summer. Upon their retirement, Esther and Leo wintered in Florida where Esther enjoyed the company of her many friends and bingo. She was always generous and shared her winnings.

Esther was predeceased by her husband, Leo. She is survived by her children Lee Beaupre of Colorado, Pat Beaupre of Huntington, Deb Allen of Chittenden, Jeff Beaupre of Essex Jct., 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
