Geneva S. Bergeron, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the McClure Miller Respite House.

She was born May 27, 1936 the daughter of the late Edmund and Lillian Normandin. Geneva worked for IBM, Western Union, and Gardeners Supply. She married the love of her life Walter L. Bergeron Jr. on May 2, 1959, and spent 62 years together.

She was the mother of Tom, Sheryl, and Andrew "Andy" Bergeron. Geneva was grandmother to five grandsons, Brian, Brett, Jordan, Jarred, and Dylan; and great-grandmother of Aiden, Killian, Kash, Elizabeth, and Brian. She leaves behind her brother Raymond Normandin, and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends . She was predeceased by her parents, Edmund and Lillian Normandin; her husband Walter L., and her grandson Brian.

She was loved dearly and will be missed intensely.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 22, at 11:00am at Holy Cross Church with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 416 Church Rd. in Colchester.
