Gloria Jean Farnham, 73, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026.

Gloria was born on November 7, 1952, to Harold and Barbara Bowen and was one of five children. She graduated from Peoples Academy in Morrisville, Vermont, and went on to pursue a career in nursing, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. Gloria devoted her life to caring for others, working in numerous healthcare facilities throughout the area. In addition, she volunteered her time with the Morristown Rescue Squad for several years, further reflecting her lifelong commitment to service.

On April 28, 1973, Gloria married James Farnham, with whom she shared more than five decades of marriage. Gloria was a devoted and loving mother to her two children, Kristine Best (Scott) and Derrick Farnham (Allison). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Kameryn and Lauryn Best, and AJ and Charlie Farnham. She is survived by her husband, her sisters, and her nieces and nephews and their families.

Gloria's kindness, generosity, and deep compassion touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her caring heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lamoille Area Cancer Network in honor and loving memory of Gloria.
