Louise was born on January 16, 1938, in Washington, D. C., the daughter of Jesse and Helen (Godbout) Mitchell. She married the love of her life, George, on January 4, 1957. She and George made their home in Landover, MD, before moving to Vermont in 1969.

Louise was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She cherished her family above all else, enjoying birthdays, holidays and other occasions when everyone would gather. Louise enjoyed working outside in her yard with her George and family vacations at the beach. Louise volunteered for many years with organizations such as CareNet (n/k/a Aspire Now) and Joseph's House. During George's long illness, she was his primary caregiver and advocate. She worked for the federal government much of her career until her retirement in 1995.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Denise Cincotta (John) of Essex, VT, Son-in-Law, Jim (Jill Neary) of Colchester, VT, her grandchildren: Tim (Erin) Neary of Johnstown, CO; Michael (Emily) Cincotta of Wexford, PA; Krista (Wyatt) Mosher of Killington, VT, and great grandchildren: Bellamy, Brielle and Brooklyn Cincotta and Murphy Neary. She is also survived by her loving sister, June Green (Sister Dear) of Deale, MD, sister-in-law, Mary Mitchell, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.

In addition to her husband, George Fillmann and her daughter, Mary Catherine (Cathy) Neary, Louise is also predeceased by her parents, Helen and Jesse Mitchell, her brothers, Jesse Mitchell, Jr. and William (Billy) Mitchell and various other family members.
