James Edward Pariseau

November 18, 1958 – June 12, 2026

Jim Pariseau, 67, of South Burlington, Vermont, passed away on June 12, 2026.

A lifelong learner, Jim was happiest with a good history book, a Patriots game, or a conversation about airplanes. Raised in Winooski, he graduated from Winooski High School before serving four years in the United States Navy. He later attended Vermont Technical College and built a career spanning more than four decades with IBM and GlobalFoundries.

Those who knew Jim knew his love for animals, aviation, music, and military history. They also knew his greatest joy was the people he loved. Family meant everything to him, and he was a steady source of encouragement, loyalty, and support.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Shelley; his daughter, Heather Munoz and her husband, Manuel; his stepgrandson, Mason; and the many pets who were part of his family. He joins his parents and his brother in eternal rest.

He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering support, and the love he shared with those closest to him. In accordance with his wishes, no public service will be held.
