Joan Ann Drury, 85 of Barre, VT passed away on May 6th, 2024 at the Barre Gardens in Barre, VT. Born in Northfield, VT to parents Charles Partlow and Margaret (Perra), Joan was the eighth of 14 children.

Joan married her husband Robert Henry Drury on July 28th, 1956. They were happily married for 41 years until Robert's death on November 29, 1997. Joan loved playing bingo, camping and playing cards; Particularly cribbage. She was the cribbage pegmaster at the Barre Gardens, assuring that the other residents didn't cheat. Always a part of a large, loving family, Joan was a friend and mother to many in her life.

Joan was predeceased by her husband Robert "Bob" Drury, daughter Debbie Croteau and great grandson Konner Drury. She is also predeceased by siblings Robert "Bobby" Partlow, Clarence "Mickey" Partlow, Frederick "Fred" Partlow, Eunice Carpenter, her twin sister Jean Dukette, Bev Delude, Edward "Junior" Partlow, Francis Partlow, Gilbert Partlow, Arthur Partlow, Richard "Dickey" Partlow, and Louis Partlow. She is survived by siblings Kenneth Partlow and Diana Billings.

She is also survived by her children Douglas (Kathy) Drury,David Drury, Daniel (Betsy) Drury, Daphne (Mike) Williams and Denise (Mike) Mercadante. She is also survived by her grandchildren Krystal Mercier, Mandy Donahue, Rebecca Drury, Kris Croteau, Kim King, Keith Williams, Steph Shaughnessy, Lucy Drury, Derek and Dylan Mercadante, great grandchildren Levi and June Williams, Cam and Drew Shaughnessy, Nicole and Allyson Furman, Payton and Grace Donahue, Addie and Uriah Croteau, Koleton and Bella King, JC and Andy Jenkins and great great grandchild Kane Boyd. She is also survived by her honorary family members Kenny (Maureen) Goslant, Matt, Steff, and Lisa (Roger) Goslant.

A family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Calvary Cemetery in Northfield, VT. Arrangements are in the care of Kingston Funeral Home.
