John Kilpeck, 54, of Richmond, passed away on September 1, 2025, at home after a brief illness surrounded by loved ones.

John was born in Burlington, Vermont to Clayton and Carol (Tillotson) Kilpeck on April 5, 1971.

John was preceded in death by his father, Clayton; grandparents, Norris and Muriel Tillotson; John and Rose Kilpeck; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

John is survived by his mother, Carol; brother, Scott and fiancé, Joey; nieces Cassidy, Ashley, Amber, Alyssa, and nephew Cody; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family of John wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the University of Vermont Home Health and Hospice.

Per his wishes there will be no visiting hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to a charity of one's choice.
