Colchester, VT

Joseph "John" Beaulieu, 88 of Colchester passed away at UVM Medical Center on November 21, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

He was born in Newport, VT on June 14, 1935 the son of the late Alfred Joseph Beaulieu and Marie Elise Blair. In 1958 he joined the US Army, after serving in the military, he operated a delivery service and managed rental properties. In 1990 after a trip to Florida, he spent many winters in Estero, FL.

John is survived by his wife Anna Beaulieu; his son Jeffrey, and daughter Annamarie; his grandchildren Joey, Stephen, and Justin; seven nephews, and a niece.

His family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Miller 6 for the care and compassion given to John which made his last days more comfortable.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 29, from 2pm to 4pm at LaVigne Funeral & Cremation Service, 132 Main St., Winooski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 30, at 11:00am at Holy Cross Church, Colchester with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
