Obituary

Judith Ross, a spirited soul with a heart full of love and laughter, passed away peacefully at home, on May 28, 2025, at the age of 83, surrounded by her husband and family members. Her vibrant energy, boundless compassion, and joyful presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Judy was a woman of deep faith who loved to travel and enjoyed camping throughout the United States. She believed in the beauty of the present moment, always seeking connection with others, and with something greater than herself. She had a great love for people, especially children, as a dedicated para-educator for many years at Morrisville Elementary School. Many of her church friends may remember her for her Bible Studies and involvement in the Worship Ministries with her guitar music. Her love was not confined to words, but lived out daily in her relationships, hard work ethic, and deep appreciation for life's simple joys.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she is survived by:

Her husband of 54 years, Robert Ross of Morrisville, VT; four children--Robert Ross and wife Denice Ross, Allen Ross and wife Cindy Ross, Rhoda Poore and husband Mark Poore, and Kenneth Ross; eight grandchildren--Madison Ross, Ashley Day, Shelby Sukovaty, Alex Ross, Justyn Poore, Lauren Ross, Rex Ross, and Noah Ross; one great-granddaughter, Amelia Sukovaty; as well as extended family.

They will continue to carry her spirit forward with every meal shared, every joke told, and every flower picked from the garden. Her memory lives on in the countless lives she touched with her zest for life, humor, and open heart.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11 AM at Riverbank Cemetery (108 Cemetery Rd., Stowe) and celebration to follow at the VFW in Hyde Park, VT at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her memory by making a donation in her name to Lamoille Health and Hospice or The Breast Care Research Foundation.

Her light remains with us always.
