On Friday, July 7th in the early Morning hours, Kelley Sue Cusson was called on by the lord and her loving family beyond. Her death was tragic and unexpected, leaving Kelley's family still searching for answers to her final hours.

Kelley Sue Cusson was born on February 15th, 1992 in Burlington Vermont to her adoring parents Tina Cusson and Kirk Douglass. She was named for her Aunt Kelley who passed before her. As a child she was fun, loving and rambunctious, always making her family laugh and her mother cringe. She loved animals and was a dare-devil at heart, known to pull fire alarms, jump off bridges and many other fearless acts.

Kelley's love for family and life blossomed into her three beautiful children who each embody the most special parts of our dear Kelley. She was a fierce protector of her family and loved ones, loving hard and enjoying life harder. Kelley was led down a rough and dangerous path which would unfortunately take her from us. But without a doubt, she died loving her children with every ounce of her heart.

She is survived by her 3 beautiful children. Her parents, Tina Cusson and Kirk Douglass. Her older brother Joshua Cusson-Douglass(Jill Bearce) and nephew Zachary. Sister Tara Douglass(Randy Blanchard) nieces and nephew Rylee, Mya, Jacob, and brother Shawn Gelo. Her Grandmother Jeannette Cusson. Her Aunts Tammy Cusson(Tanya McDonald), Tanya Cenate(Jeff Beam), Chrissy Cusson, Tina Maynard, Reba Cook, Paul and Carol Douglass, and Connie and Gator Adams. Cousins; Tenesha, Rachael, Jason, Cassie, Charlie, Issahia, Asher, Jade, Eli, Greg, Gwen, Nicky, Stephanie, Vicki, Carrie, Eric, Tiana and Mekysha.

Kelley is joining her heavenly family. Including her Grandfather Reginald Cusson, her Great grandmother Beatrice Desautels and Great Grandmother Gigi. Her Grandfather Wayne Douglass and Grandmother Mary Douglass. Her namesake Aunt Kelley Sue Douglass, her Aunt Terry Cusson, Uncle Skip Cenate. Cousins Zachery Beam, Nicholas Cusson-Ducharme, Anthony Lowe and Anthony Cusson. As well as her two favorite four legged family members Bruno and BearBear.

Services for Kelley will be held on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 from 11am-2pm at La Vignes Funeral Home (132 Main St, Winooski, VT 05404). Following the service will be a celebration of Kelley's life at her grandmother's home at 74 River St in Winooski. Family, loved ones and close friends are invited to attend.
