Liam John Green, infant son of Kurt and Kay Marie (Anderson) Green passed away from meningitis in the comfort of his Mom and Dad and family, on June 4, 2014 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Portland on December 13, 2013. Liam was everything his parents ever dreamed of and more. He enjoyed going to his daycare and spending time with his providers Aggie and Kate as well as all of his friends who loved to play with him. He was a true little boy who loved to be outside. Liam is loved and mourned by his parents, Kurt and Kay Green of South Portland; his maternal grandparents, Helessa Green and her companion, Bob Boucher of Auburn ME, Mark Anderson of Moretown; his paternal grandparents, John Green of Duxbury, Karen Green of Redondo Beach California; his maternal great-grandparents, Burt and Becky Green of Duxbury, Margaret "Peg" Anderson of Moretown; his paternal great-grandparents, Maynard Green of Waterbury Center, Nancy Green of Duxbury; a special uncle, Stephen Anderson and his daughter, Alexis of Jonesville; his two aunts Christie Green of California and Audrey Thompson of Arizona; as well as extended family and friends. Graveside services will be held from Holy Cross Cemetery in Duxbury on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. The family requests that flowers be omitted; rather memorial gifts would be appreciated to the Ronald McDonald House of Portland ME (www.rmhportland.org).
