Linda
Biederbeck
May 22, 1944 — Sep 22, 2025
Linda Kathleen Biederbeck, 81, of Essex, VT, passed away peacefully on September 22 in Colchester, VT.
Linda was born Endicott, NY to Amos and Laura Fanculli on May 22, 1944, the second of three children. After completing high school, Linda met the love of her life, Kurt Biederbeck while working at Endicott Johnson. She and Kurt were married on May 1, 1964 and moved to Vermont, where Kurt was working for IBM. Linda worked many jobs including being a secretary at Fletcher Allen hospital and a retail sales person at Sears. Linda became a stay at home mom when she and Kurt welcomed their son, Eric in July of 1974. Once Eric began school, Linda returned to working, this time as a teacher's aide in the Essex school system. Linda soon moved into the position of registrar at Founders Memorial School, a job she loved. In her role, Linda was beloved by staff and students both. Linda worked as a registrar for over 17 years until the birth of her beloved grandson, Cooper. Linda was truly in her element as a daily caregiver for Cooper when his parents were at work. Once Cooper went to school, Linda kept herself busy gardening and cooking for her family when they would visit.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt, her parents, Amos and Laura, and her brother James.
Linda is survived by her son, Eric and his wife Karen, her sister Diane, and her beloved grandson, Cooper.
The family of Linda wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the McClure Miller Respite House for making Linda's final days as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McClure Miller Respi
te House.
