Lois Ann McGee, 86, of Southport, NC died peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. She

was born May 11, 1937 in Belleville, NJ to Robert and Edythe (McNeely) Woodman. She

married William John McGee on June 17, 1961 in Bloomfield, NJ. In 1976, they moved to

Morristown Corners, VT with their children. They were happily married until William's death in

2002. In 2020, she moved to Wilmington, NC to be close to their daughter.

Mrs McGee was predeceased by her husband, and by her brother Robert Woodman, Jr. She is

survived by her loving children Janet V (McGee) Lewia and her husband Peter Lewia of

Wilmington, NC and James W McGee and his wife Meredith McGee of Morristown, VT; her

beloved grandchildren Peter C Lewia, Kathleen E (Lewia) Lilly and her husband Taylor Lilly,

Robert D McGee, and Grace A McGee; by her great-grand-daughter Elizabeth L Lilly; by her

niece Jean Woodman and nephews Robert and James Woodman and their families; and by her

sister Joan Woodman.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Lanpher Memorial Library in

Hyde Park, VT.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
