Marie Yvonne Gratton, 92, of Burlington VT died on August 16, 2017 at The Converse Home. Yvonne was born in Westford on August 15, 1925 the daughter of Remi and Rose Adeline (Pratt) Gratton.

Yvonne was employed at the University of Vermont in the Department of Agricultural Economics for 50 years. Her love and devotion to the Catholic church, her family and her work are legendary with all who knew her.

Yvonne is survived by her brothers Remi Gratton and Arnold Gratton, sister in law Janice Gratton, her brother in law Fred Lane, many nieces and nephews and her best friend Eileen Boivin.

She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Loretta, Leona, Blanche, Francis, Romuald, Frederick, Flor Ida, Anita, Clara and Gladys.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 22nd at 11:00 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winooski. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.

The Family would like to thank the all the staff at the Converse Home and the Hospice nurses for their gentle and loving care of Yvonne as she moved through her final years.
