Michael Philippe Villemaire

Born July 23 1958, Died June 4 2024

Mike passed away at his home after suffering from a long illness of COPD.

He graduated from Burlington High School. He spent most of his working career driving trucks for Booska's Trucking and Land Air Express. Mike was an avid fisherman and avid photographer, taking wonderful nature and wildlife photos, of which he shared much of his work. He also did photography for many weddings and special occasions. He loved to cook on the grill for friends and family. If anyone needed a hand, Mike was always there. Mike loved to share about his family and was so proud to become a grandfather. He will be dearly missed and the light he left behind will not be forgotten.

He is survived by his children Mike Villemaire Jr., Melissa and Brendan Willem, Michelle and Jamie Newman, Phillip and Cristy Villemaire, along with his grandchildren, Harper, Raena, Cora, Willow, Clayton, Quinn, and Wyatt. His siblings April Villemaire, Nancy and Charlie Sticka, Anne-Marie and David Badore as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, World War II vet, Philippe Villemaire, mother Claire Villemaire, sister Diane Peck, and sister Pauline Lefebvre.

A special thanks to his cousins Brian and Linda Villemaire, who took care of him for six months before his passing. The family will be eternally grateful for their care and empathy.
