Olive Marie Billings, 81, of Barre, passed away on June 13, 2025, in Barre.

She was born in Ripton, Vermont, on July 30, 1943, to Leon and Ruth (Haskins) Culver. Olive attended school in Ripton and Bristol. She worked as a supervisor of maintenance and grounds for the State of Vermont for 32 years and retired in 2005.

Olive was predeceased by Ernest Billings, the father of her children; her granddaughter, Angela Humphrey; her parents; four brothers; and four sisters.

She is survived by her three children: Ernest Billings Jr. of Barre, VT, Janice Billings of Barre, VT, and Brenda Clark of Northfield Falls, VT. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; her sisters, Jean Billings of Hancock, VT, and Sadie Wheelock of West Bolton, VT; her brothers, Joe Culver and his wife Sharon of Hinesburg, and Ira Culver of Charlotte; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Maplewood Cemetery, Huntington, VT.
