Patricia Wells of Colchester, passed peacefully on October 15, 2024.

She was born in Burlington, Vermont the daughter of the late Winfield and Regina (Roberts) Simpson.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and an extraordinary and loyal friend. Patty gave tirelessly and continuously to her customers at the barbershop in Essex for the past 25 years. She has given so many first haircuts over the years, which turned into lasting customers and friends. She also worked at Burlington Health and Rehab for over 40 years, giving haircuts and style to the women living there. She put a smile on their faces and lit their eyes, knowing that they would be seeing her each week.

When she wasn't doing hair, she enjoyed camping and spending time with her husband the love of her life Brian Wells, and her best friends Loreen and Steve Guyette and our greatly missed (Aunt) Jane Hebert. She also loved to spend time with her grandsons, Dylan and Caleb. She also had a very special bond with her nieces and nephews from Vermont, New York, Texas, and North Carolina.

She is survived by her three children, Dina Wells and her husband Eric Edson, Kellie Spence and her partner Kevin Crete, Luke Wells and his partner Heather Lavigne and their three children Miah, Ava and David, her grandchildren Dylan Blondiet and Caleb Spence, her best friend and her person Loreen Guyette, her mother and father in law Neil and Jackie Wells, and many brother and sister inlaws. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Brian Wells, and granddaughter Kelsie Spence.

A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 26, at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Church in Colchester. A Celebration of life will immediately follow the service in the parish hall.
