It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Paul Stephen Phillips, 72, on April 7, 2026, after a long courageous battle with COPD. Paul was surrounded by his children and family.

Paul was born September 15, 1953 in Burlington, VT to Donald and Monique Phillips. Paul graduated from La Salette Seminary and later went on to graduate from Johnson State College.

He was predeceased by his parents and wife Denise Greenia-Phillips. He is survived by his brothers John (Jack) and Peter Phillips; his children Ashley Conley and her husband Brandon Conley, Michelle St. Hilaire, Kevin Phillips and his wife, Shawna Phillips, and grandchildren Britney and Hannah Beaupre, David Santor, Ava and Julian Phillips, and Kayden Conley.

Paul worked most of his career at Rhino Foods where he was known as the "Freezer Geezer". A title that he was very proud of. He was a lifelong fan of many sports, including his all-time favorite team, the NY Giants. Paul loved long summer nights cruising through Vermont's twisty roads.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Michael's Fire and Rescue in Paul's memory.
