Paul Proulx Sr., 87, of Colchester, Vermont, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at UVM Medical Center following a short Illness.

He was born February 28, 1937, the Son of Edward and Anna (Lacroix) Proulx. He was in the US Army and spent his career in construction and then at the YMCA. He was very active hunting, fishing, bowling, camping, racing, golf, pickleball, cribbage, and watching any and all sports. He was in the Knights of Columbus for many years. He especially loved spending time with his family and dear friends.

He is survived by his children, Paul (Corina) Proulx Jr, Tonya (Dustin) Whitney, and Todd (Jessie) Proulx. His grandchildren, Kailtlynn, Brandan, Joshua, Margaret, Dylan, Aurora, Stephen and Piper, his great-grandchildren, Kota and Benny. And many wonderful friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife of over 50 years, Janice (Desmarais) Proulx, his parents Edward and Anna, His siblings, Janet (Izzo), Norma (Bernardini), Doris (Marcelino), and Edward.

Visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, April 25, at LaVigne Funeral & Cremation Service, 132 Main St, Winooski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 26, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 416 Church Road, Colchester with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church hall.
