Peter Joseph
Lefebvre
Jun 30, 1949 — Feb 3, 2025
Peter Joseph LeFebvre, "the man too tough to tame," left us unexpectedly on February 2, 2025 at the age of 75. Peter was born in Northfield, the son of Francis Bean and Glenna (Avery). He is a graduate of Northfield High School, class of 1969. He was an impressive athlete throughout his high school career. After high school, Peter joined the United States Air Force. He then spent most of his career painting houses. He took pride in his work as a painter. He also spent many years working at the family Chevrolet dealership in town. He married Nancy Allard in 1977 and they shared together their daughter, Courtney Tabor (LeFebvre). Peter had many, many friends and he formed friendships easily. He was known to many as, "Uncle Pete." –especially friends of his nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, dancing and being with his family and friends. One of his favorite things to do was to hang out on his front porch during the summers with his friends (drinking beer) and reminiscing.
A devoted father, spectacular grandfather, faithful GreenBay Packer fan and a friend to many. Peter was known for his comical quick wit and sense of humor as well as his generosity and willingness to help anyone, even if it may have caused a hardship to himself.
Peter leaves behind his daughter Courtney (Jerry) Tabor, son Tyler Baker, grandchildren Landry Tabor, Luke Tabor and Reece Baker, brother John (Gladys) Bean of Cocoa Beach Florida, sisters Martha Sue Labonne of CT, Jodie Bean of Las Vegas, NV and his nieces and nephews as well as special friends, Dana and Michelle Bean. -The best neighbors anyone could ask for. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Pam (Pat) Blondin of Colchester.
