Rajwant Kapoor, 86, of Essex passed away on April 5, 2026. Rajwant was born in India on October 23, 1939 to Kesar and Pritam Oswan.

She married Dalbir Singh Kapoor and together they had six children: Jadvinder, Harvinder, Jasvinder (Jessy), Manvinder (Manju), Davinder, and Inderjeet. The family relocated from India to Kenya in 1973.

In 1990, Rajwant moved to the United States to live with her son Jessy and daughter-in-law Lisa. She travelled extensively visiting family in Kenya, India, Australia and Germany.

Rajwant is survived by her son Jessy and his wife Lisa of Essex; daughter Harvinder and her husband Satnam of Lidcombe, Australia; daughter Inderjeet of Mannheim, Germany; and son Jadvinder of Germany. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and a brother in India. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Dalbir; daughters Manju and Davinder, one brother, and one sister.

The family would like to thank the staff at Burlington Health & Rehab for their care of Rajwant over the past year.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
