Ralph Leo, Jr., 83 of Colchester died on September 29, 2026 at the UVM Medical Center.

He was born in Burlington, VT on November 28, 1942 to the late Ralph Leo, Sr. and Helene (Monahan) Leo. Ralph married Jeannette Muir on June 23, 1962 in South Burlington. He worked at General Dynamics for 35 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 91, and the Eagles Club in Milton.

Ralph is survived by his wife Jeannette Leo of Colchester; his brother David Leo and wife Elaine; his sister Judy Leo; his niece Kim Davis and husband Allen, and his godson and nephew Jody Leo and husband David; his special cousin Sandy Rotella, and by several other nieces, nephews, and friends. Ralph is also survived by special friends Cathy and Steve Renaudette, and his close neighbors Arthur Labor and Arvis Connolly. He was predeceased by his son Anthony “Tony” Leo, and his brother Bruce Leo, Sr.

Special thanks to Art Labor and Dan Lamphere for their quick thinking and willingness to step in and try to save Ralph’s life, and also to Steve and Sandy for their support throughout that difficult time. The family also thanks the cardiovascular team at UVM Medical Center for their professional help, support, and compassion.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ralph’s memory to ASPCA, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
