Richard 'Dick' Almeron Headley, 86 of Waterbury, VT passed away on March 2, 2024.

Born April 11, 1937, in New Jersey to Arthur Almeron and Dorothy Maude (Tillapaugh) Headley, and was

the proud big brother of David Bernerd Headley.

As the #1 fan of the Boston Red Sox, he watched every game, diligently recorded player's stats, and

fulfilled a lifelong dream of seeing a game at Fenway Park in 2019. He was the longest resident and

official greeter of Kirby House, a self-proclaimed retired farmer, a member of the Waterbury

Congregational Church, and a regular at The Wayside in Montpelier. He loved turkey dinners, enjoyed

singing Christmas carols, talking about baseball, and visiting with the locals while walking around town.

Dick is survived by Dave's wife, Barbara; nieces Linda Sue (Ulman) Maurer of Eaton Rapids, MI and Beth

April Brooks of Atlanta, GA; cousin, Karen (Tillapaugh) Goddard; special friend, Mr. Senning; the

residents and staff of Kirby House; the members of Waterbury Congregational Church; and many

friends.

Remembrance during Sunday services - 10am March 10 at Waterbury Congregational Church
