Robert Bourdeau, lovingly known as Bob, passed away peacefully after facing his final days with incredible courage and dignity. He was the beloved son of Paul Emile Bourdeau and Armandin Larerge Bourdeau of Saint-Chrysostome, a municipality in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada.

A devoted husband, father, and cherished member of the Hyde Park, Vermont community, Bob will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and deep commitment to the people and places he loved.

Bob was a man who lived for his family, his work, and his community. For thirty years, he generously hosted the Lamoille Valley Fish and Game Club—a true reflection of his spirit and his love for bringing people together.

Born with a kind and generous nature, Bob built a life centered around his loved ones. Whether at home or on the job, he inspired his neighbors, friends, and coworkers with his quiet strength, steady dedication, and willingness to help others with an open heart.

Bob is survived by his wife, Marie; his two sons, Brad Bourdeau and Dana Bourdeau; and his siblings: Pierre and his wife Hazel from Milton, VT, Marielle Hill from Barefoot Bay, FL, André and his wife Jean Bourdeau from Barefoot Bay Fl, Michel and his wife Susan Bourdeau from Hyde Park, VT, and Lambert and his wife Alice Bourdeau from Hyde Park, VT. His grandchildren—Caleb, Cora (and her partner Kaelob Smith), Finlan, and Mia—and his great-grandchildren, Harper Lynn Bourdeau and Haven Dana Smith, will always carry his memory close.

In Hyde Park and beyond, Bob was known for his warm smile, helpful nature, and his calm, positive outlook. He met life's challenges with grace, and his example continues to inspire all who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at Lamoille Funeral Home, located at 853 Brooklyn Street, Morrisville, on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 pm. All are welcome to join in honoring a man whose love, kindness, and dedication touched so many.

A funeral mass will be held at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 301 Brooklyn Street, Morrisville, on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 1:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Center Cemetery, 77 McKinstry Hill Road, Hyde Park.

In accordance with Bob's wishes, donations may be made in his memory to the William B. Delaney Infusion Center at Copley Hospital in lieu of flowers.

Bob's memory lives on in the stories we share, the love we continue to feel, and the care we show each other. May he rest in peace, and may we honor his legacy by living with the same compassion, perseverance, and kindness he so generously gave.
