Robert (Bob) W. Lauzon, 77, a resident of Highgate Center, died peacefully Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, in Franklin County Rehab Center in St. Albans.

Robert was born in Burlington on Sep. 17, 1948, the son of Phillip and Margaret (Callery) Lauzon. He served his country proudly in the Vermont Army National Guard. Robert was employed by Art Shields, friend and boss, for over 50 years. He was a member of the American Legion Green Mountain Post 1 and was an avid collector of many interests.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Michelle Lauzon; Joshua Lang, father of his grandchildren, Letty and Bennett Lang; one sibling, Phyllis Daviau; his nieces and nephews, Ronald and Steven Daviau, and Louis, Jeffery and Loretta Lauzon.

He asked for no visiting hours. A small graveside service will be held at Fort Ethan Allen Cemetery in Colchester later this spring when the cemetery opens. Military honors will be accorded Mr. Lauzon at that time as well. There will be a Celebration of Life for Robert in the near future.
