Robert Leonard Leroux Sr. , 95, a longtime area resident passed away, on December 14, 2017. He was boorn in Vt on August 1, 1923.

Robert was a Veteran of the Vermont National Guard, serving several years in the 1950's with the Infantry and Engineers. Robert had also been an employee of the city of Winooski for many years. Robert had five children with His long time wife Blanche J. Leroux (Bergeron) Blanche had passed several years ago.

Left to cherish is memory are his children Shirley Munger (Leroux), Gary Leroux , Danny Leroux and David Leroux , extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his son Robert Leroux Jr.

As we look back over time we find ourselves wondering did we remember to thank you enough for all you did for us and the times you were by our sides to help and support us?

Or for teaching us by your example, the value of hard work, good judgment, courage and integrity?

We wonder if we ever thanked you for the sacrifices you made and we are hoping you knew throughout your live how much you meant to us and we will forever mourn your passing.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St. Winooski, Vt. Visitation will be Friday June 12 from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery.
