Sergio Pedrini, of Roxbury, VT, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

He was born in Bologna, Italy in 1948, and moved to the United States in 1980.

He was a profoundly spiritual man who highly valued self-reliance and approached everything he did

with humility, purpose and intention.

An accomplished gardener and naturalist, he was most at home communing with the natural world with

which he was deeply in love. He maintained a lifelong commitment to the study of wisdom traditions

and the pursuit of truth, and passionately shared his learnings with those he loved.

Sergio worked as a rural carrier for the US Postal Service, as a graphic artist, and as a lab assistant

during his time in Italy, in addition to co-owning a tempeh production business in Burlington, VT.

Through it all, Sergio had a sharp wit and a playful sense of humor, and we can still hear him laughing

now.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Libera and Ugo Pedrini, and is survived by his wife, Alicia, his

sons, Noah and Dylan Pedrini, his step-daughter, Madeleine Bontrager, and his four grandchildren.
