Sherry Marie Sollace Brow – 70, passed away in the comfort of her home and family on Saturday evening, February 10, 2018. Born in Montpelier on October 13, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Ira Doty Sollace, Jr. and Margaret Mary (Corriveau) Sollace. Sherry was previously married to Richard Lamson whom she wed on March 16, 1968 in Waterbury. She married Maurice Brow on November 8, 1985 in Bolton.   Sherry was a 1966 graduate of Montpelier High School. She began her working career at the Vermont State Hospital in Waterbury and then later was employed at the General Electric Corporation in Burlington as a Secretary. Most recently Sherry worked as a Customs Broker for F.W. Myers & Co., a freight forwarder and customs broker prominent in Canada and the United States.   Sherry is lovingly remembered for her innate abilities when it came to a variety of crafts, particularly rug hooking, all talents she shared with her mother and daughter; as well as cooking (famous for her baked beans) and the joy she found curled up with a good book.   Sherry is loved and mourned by her husband, Maurice (Moe) Brow of Alburgh; her daughter, Denise Sollace Lamson Corbeil and her husband, Leo J. Corbeil, Jr, and their son, Kyle A. Corbeil of Waterbury; her sister, Monica L. Sollace Upmal and her husband Kenny Upmal of Berlin; her brother, Ira W. Sollace and his wife, Cindy Griffith of Middlesex; her sister-in-law, Carole Chapin Sollace of Montpelier; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. Sherry was predeceased by her sister, Michelle A. Sollace, and her brother, Jeffrey M. Sollace.   As it was Sherry's desire, services will be private.
