Shirley Mae McAllister, 76, passed away on November 15, 2024, in Burlington, VT. Known for her outgoing and friendly demeanor, Shirley spent many years dedicated to her role at Copley Hospital, where her warmth and chattiness brightened the days of both colleagues and patients.

Shirley is survived by her loving partner, Rodney Sholan; daughters, Kathy Griffin and Karen Leach; grandchildren, Harley Griffin (partner Shelby Bryce), Colby Griffin (partner Ashley Peters), Jeffrey Leach (fiancée Holly Donahue), and Jessica Leach; son-in-law Vail Leach, III; and nephew, Adam Williams

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Susie Touchette; sister, Alberta Williams; and brother-in-law, Mike Williams.
